Saint Kitts & Nevis, Nevis: Locked Yacht on Mooring Deters Burglars

Burglars ransacked the cockpit cubbies of a yacht that was on a mooring in Charlestown, St. Kitts and Nevis but the owners found nothing had been taken when they returned to their boat as they had left all access points securely locked when going ashore for dinner.

DETAILS:

Owners of monohull on a NPA mooring had checked out and left the yacht to meet friends for dinner. During the 3 hours they were away the yacht was boarded. All access points had been locked. On their return they found that all cockpit cubbies had been ransacked, nothing was taken. No police report was made and the yacht departed the next morning.
