We anchored here after several days of northerlies and as the wind was forecast to move around to the west we wanted good protection and a calm night at anchor. Well we found it, this spot is perfect. When we arrived around 7pm the wind was blowing from the south, quite light. It was fine to be honest and we hung on, hoping the wind was going to swing as predicted. By 10pm it did and we had a wonderfully calm night. No passing wake, no fishermen (or if there were they were quiet), so probably the best, calmest night’s sleep we’ve had so far in this Ria! Tempted to stay longer! Ashore there’s nothing. A snack bar is doing work to open in a few weeks they say – pity they are not open now – but the beach had quite a few people on it during the day. Great spot for paddleboarding and swimming.
