This family of six from Maine, USA have 4 children and 2 dogs aboard a 2011 Jeanneau “Serendipity”. They left Maine in September 2018 for the Caribbean where they spent 2 seasons. The idea of taking a family voyage came about 5 years previously and after a few years of searching for the right boat, they found the one in July 2017 and learnt to sail. The couple’s hope for this voyage was to teach their children to enjoy the small things in life and learn to live life more simply. As we all know, life is short, and things don’t always go as planned, so this is where they came up with the name “Live the Voyage.”
Sadly, after a long fight with cancer, mum Stephanie passed away in April 2022.
